You can always edit your subscription plans if you want to:

  • Add or remove included groups and channels

  • Set a free trial

  • Make it for newcomers only

  • Make it for active customers only

  • Make it for past customers only

  • Duplicate, disable, or delete it

  • Make it recurring or not recurring

  • Make it accessible with access codes only

  • Allow renewals if disabled

To access a subscription plan settings:

  1. Go to app.invitemember.com > Settings > Subscription plans.

  2. Select your plan, and then the Edit button

  3. Edit your subscription plan

Note: Currency, price, and duration can't be edited. But you can disable your old plan and create a new one at anytime. You can also turn the "Allow disabled plan renewal" setting to ON in your disable the plan, to allow old subscribers pay the same price.

Disabling, Duplicating, or Deleting Plans

If you want to disable, duplicate, or delete your plan, just click the menu button in your subscription plan settings page.

  • Disabling a plan hides it from everyone, meaning past subscribers won't be able to subscribe again, and new users won't be able to find it. If you'd like existing and previous customers to renew disabled plans, enable the "Allow disabled plan renewal" option.

  • Duplicating plans is a quick and easy way to create identical plans. You can set a different currency, price, and duration for a plan that's being duplicated.

  • Deleting your plans is irreversible. Be sure there are no active subscribers in your plan before deleting it.

Settings

Here's more information about subscription plan's advanced settings.

Recurring

Some payment integrations (Stripe and PayPal) support recurring subscriptions. With a recurring subscription, a customer is charged automatically each billing period. He can cancel at any time.

With Recurring: ON InviteMember will try to create a recurring subscription if it's possible (for Stripe it will use Stripe Billing, for PayPal — PayPal Subscriptions). If payment integration doesn't support recurring billing, a single charge will be created.

With Recurring: OFF the bot will create a single charge even if payment integration supports recurring billing.

Trial Period

If you want to offer free trials for your customers, you can enter the number of days and decide if it will be with or without card upfront.

Lean more about this in How To Set a Free Trial.

Benefits

Select the groups and channels that will be included in your subscription plans.

Advanced Settings

Newcomers only

This option makes a plan available to new customers only — those who're making their first payment ever. It's great for converting new users into active customers.

Customers only

This option, instead, makes a plan available to all active & churned customers — those who've ever made any payments to you (excluding those on trials). It's great for upsells and upgrades of many kinds.

Churned only

Finally, this option makes a plan available to churned customers — those who don't have an active subscription or payments right now but had them in the past. Use this option to reactivate your "sleeping" customers.

Access Code only

With this option, you can create subscription plans that don't have a price and can only be activated with an Access Code

Allow Disabled Plan Renewals

Set Allow disabled plan renewal to ON to keep disabled plan visible to existing subscribers, and let renew anyone who has subscribed to this plan.

Single-use

A single-use plan can only be purchased once.

Please note that setting Single-use: ON makes Recurring: OFF automatically.
